Definition

Assault including sexual assault means an act with violent intent resulting in bodily injury to an insured person(s) arising from an insured event(s).

In order to differentiate coverage between assault and vicious attack for the purpose of this policy assault shall been deemed a loss(es) and/or claim(s) where bodily injury occurs to an insured person(s) and the cause of the bodily injury is not as a result of the use of a vehicle(s) and/or explosive/incendiary device(s) and/or any handheld weapon(s) and/or object(s) intended to cause harm to a person and/or group of persons.
